Things Founders Usually Ask
What kind of founder is a good fit for Kairos Works?
We work best with founders who are in early stages — validating an idea, approaching a first launch or navigating the stretch before product-market fit. You do not need a polished business plan. A clear desire to think carefully and move deliberately is enough.
How do sessions typically run — in person or remote?
We are based in Subang Jaya, Selangor, and can meet in person for local founders. Remote sessions over video call work equally well and are used by many of our clients across Malaysia. We adapt to what is practical for you.
What is the difference between the Orientation Session and the Mentorship Companion?
The Orientation Session is a short, focused engagement — a few weeks, one clear output. The Mentorship Companion is an ongoing arrangement over several months for founders who want a consistent advisory presence while building. Some founders start with Orientation and continue to Mentorship.
How soon can we start?
We typically begin with a short introductory call to understand your situation. From there, we confirm scope and start within one to two weeks depending on availability. We take a small number of engagements at a time to keep quality high.
Are the prices fixed or negotiable?
The listed prices reflect our standard scope. If your situation calls for a different arrangement — a longer Mentorship period or an adjusted Orientation scope — we are happy to discuss what makes sense. Just mention it when you get in touch.
Do you work with founders outside Klang Valley?
Yes. While our office is in Subang Jaya, all three services work well remotely. We have worked with founders in Penang, Johor Bahru and East Malaysia. Location is not a barrier.
