From Scattered Idea to Clear Starting Point

Challenge

A solo founder with a SaaS idea for the HR tech space. Had spoken to several potential users informally, but could not settle on who the primary customer was or what to build first. Found herself changing direction after every conversation.

What We Did

Ran a structured Orientation Session to map the idea properly — distinguishing between the problem, the customer and the product. Helped surface two distinct customer types and the implications of choosing each. Wrote a clear summary of both options and a short action list.

Outcome

Within two weeks, the founder chose her primary customer segment and began validation conversations with focus. Three months later, she had ten discovery interviews done and a clearer product scope. She came back for the Go-to-Market Plan at that point.

What We Did

Worked through the audience, the channels available with their actual constraints and the simplest route to first paying customers. Built a practical go-to-market plan and a measurement outline that did not require tools they could not afford or time they did not have.

Outcome

The founders aligned on channel priority and ran with the plan over eight weeks. They reached 12 paying customers in that period, all acquired through the same outbound approach outlined in the plan. Measurement was simple but gave them useful signal.
